This 3 days short Uganda safari take you to Kibale forest national park for chimpanzee tracking. Other safari highlights include primates viewing, nature walks, birding in Bigodi wetland sanctuary etc

SAFARI ITINERARY

Day 1: Kampala -Fort portal
In the morning after breakfast you will drive south west through Mubende to Reach Fort portal in the afternoon. You will transfer to your lodge to check in, have lunch and then in the afternoon, you will go visit the Ndali crater lakes region. (This is provided on request). Dinner and overnight at Ndali Lodge / Mountains of the Moon / Primates lodge.

Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest
In the morning you will have breakfast to transfer to Kibale National Park. The drive will take you about One hour to reach the park headquarters that‘s if you are staying in Fort portal or Ndali region. You will reach the Uganda wildlife headquarters to be briefed about tracking and the forest walks. You will then walk along the different tracks in the forest in groups of six searching for these apes that are said to bee moving towards becoming human because of the way they communicate. During the walk you may stop to listen to the calls of the chimps to avoid bypassing them. The walk will be guided providing information about chimps, other primates, fauna and flora making it informative and interesting.  After the walk you will have lunch and then go for a nature walk to Bigodi wetland sanctuary, it has a lot of rare species to offer, both fauna and flora. Dinner and overnight at Ndali Lodge / Mountains of the Moon / Primates lodge.

Day 3; Return Trip to Kampala

This morning after breakfast, pack your luggage to drive back to Kampala, The drive will take you to stop at the Equator for photographs, and reach Kampala in the afternoon.
