Murchison Falls Park Safari - 3 days Game Viewing / Wildlife Safari
This short Uganda safari starts and ends in Kampala. The safari will take you though Uganda's largest national park, Murchison Falls hailed for protecting a great chunk of untamed African savannah. The park is bisected by the mighty river Nile, the World’s second longest river.
The safari will take for a scenic drive to the top of the falls formed at a point where the Nile, the world's longest river explodes violently through a narrow cleft in the Rift Valley escarpment to plunge into a frothing pool 43m below.
The wildlife populations in this park have largely recovered from the poaching of the 1980s and this has made the park a popular place for making wildlife safaris and game viewing tours that are majorly taken on the Northern banks of the Nile. On a wildlife safari expect seeing elephants, buffaloes, giraffes and a variety of antelopes.
