3 Days Queen Elizabeth Wildlife Safari

This is a 3 days wildlife safari to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Located on the Riftvalley floor between Lake Edward and Lake George, the park is one of the most enticing places in Africa. It is home to 95 mammal species while the bird list is 612 species long. This diversity is the result of an impressive range of habitats. Fifty-seven vegetation types have been identified though these can be summarized as just five: forest, grassland, bushy grassland, and Acacia woodland and lakeshore/swamp vegetation.

Tour Itinerary

DAY 1: Depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park, a park with beautiful lakes and rich grasslands which are set deep in the crater valley, this is truly the most breathtaking scenery in the park. The park spreads over an area of 1978 sq kilometers in the western arm of the Great East African Rift Valley 418 km from the capital Kampala and takes approximately 6 hours. The park is a home to a variety of wildlife including elephants, lions, hippos, buffaloes, Uganda Kobs, baboons and birds all typical riverrine savannah habitats and the famous Kazinga Channel. Overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge/Jacana Safari Lodge/Bush Lodge

DAY 2: Game drive and Launch cruise
Begin your day with a cup of coffee. Early morning game drive along Kasenyi and Queens Mile makes visitors encounter elephants, buffalo, water bucks, warthogs, lions, Uganda Kobs lakes and a variety of birds. After lunch, a two hour boat trip along the famous Kazinga channel a natural channel between Lake Edward and Lake George. Thanks to the elephants, buffaloes and hundreds of hippos, this cruise will definitely be one of the highlights of your safari. Overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge/Jacana Safari Lodge/Bush Lodge

DAY 3: Transfer back to Kampala
Game drive in the morning as we drive back to Kampala
